Quite a bit more expensive than Aliexpress vendors but I suppose there is something to be said for the protection that buying on ebay with Paypal in case there are any problems. In either case we aren't talking about a lot of money.
The second one won't fit an F-Type (the first one will).
The first one looks identical to one of the two sets I have already tried, where both lost all red colouring after just a month or so.

Sweet. Ordered a set too. Some 10$ with delivery + maybe some customs charges. Will be interesting to compare them the supposedly fading ones I'm also waiting to get delivered.

Popped in the supposedly fading growler lights. I like the way they look. Only downside is that they feel weaker than the super strong LEDs I had in before. Not that I ever need any more ground illumination than these provide, but the LEDs I had also contributed to lighting up the pretty dim cabin a bit. Waiting to get the other growler lights from aliexpress and will see if they look better.

I received and installed the ones off the Amazon link in this thread for $12. I went with the Leaper and they seem decent for $12. If they last I will be extremely happy. If they don't-it was $12.

Finally picked up that other growler version and put the two different versions in the two doors:

And the winner is the one with the clear red centre. Stronger and clearer looks while the other looks kind of faded, over exposed and low res in comparison.

Default Removing plug from harness?

Hi, have a set of door puddle lights to install. 2019 F type convertible. I was able to remove light from bottom of door panel. I cannot seen to dislodge the existing light from the wire harness? I do not see a clip to press as removing? Help please! How does the wire come out of the harness? Thanks. Pic or video would be so appreciated.

It simply pulls out, no clip. But it can be fairly tight.
Most after-market puddle lights including the latest type in this thread come with an extra lead, one that is a little longer than the OEM lead, to make it easier to connect the new light. It has the same pair of thin "prongs" on the other end so to swap leads you pull that end out of the car and put the other lead in.
The steps are:
1. Flip the old light down.
2. Pull the wire and the plug on the end out of the light housing.
3. Put that plug and wire into the new light housing.
4. Clip the new housing into place - plug/wire end in first then clip the other end in.
5. If you want to or need to, swap the wires over - between steps 2 and 3 - by pulling the original wire out of the car harness and replace it with the new wire. Again simply pull it out, two small prongs on the end, but make sure you pull the connecting wire out of the door a little way first to allow access, it has just enough slack to do this.

Mine arrived four days ago, fitted and working a charm.
So 21 days on the slow boat from China from when I ordered them.

Update on mine - now a good year later they're faded and look pretty crap. Can't say that they've been used a lot, only when entering the car and cleaning. Time to look for some others.

Now 2 years for mine and red has faded but still pretty reasonable . . No coloured lens is not going to fade eventually so I guess consider it as a consumable just like tyre wear

This is what mine look now. Might try out a set with a leaper next, now that there are versions out there with the correct font.

Anyone have a working link to the red background Growler? Can't find it on Amazon, eBay, or AliExpress...
