Hello all!
I recently purchased a 2022 P450 and waiting for it to be shipped to me. Current car that I am selling to my local BMW dealer is an M240i convertible.
This will be my first V8, so I’m excited! As this community is pretty small, wondering if the previous owner is on this forum. Car was originally purchased in CA. I bought it from a dealer in Scottsdale, AZ.
Beautiful car, and congratulations! You’ll love your first V8. It’s not just the power. They are geared very low with tons of torque. This car will cruise around town at 1200-1400 rpm. It’s glorious. Quiet and refined when you want, then beast mode when desired. The Jag supercharged V8 is a fantastic engine. Enjoy!
Just wait until you see it on the road. The new shape looks absolutely menacing on the road, especially in dark colours with the LEDs giving it a super wide stance. It is only when I see my missus drive up in mine (previous shape) on one of the rare occasions that she has it, that I realise just how good it looks.

Congratulations on the purchase! You parlayed your M240i into a ferocious yet refined beast.
The M240i is a beautiful car as well. It must’ve had very similar stats (HP and “Out of a dig” speed), to the F-Type V6S. I’ve never owned a BMW, but you’re going to love the F Type.
Congrats on the car. I live near Scottsdale and despite seeing McLaren, Lambo's and other high end cars daily, rarely see an F Type. Just another reason I love the car. You will have to give us some feedback once you have had a chance to put some miles on it.
