Default Question about Maps Auto Scaling

Hi, I have a quick question about the map and the auto scaling function.

In my Ford Raptor, when the map scaling function is set to AUTO, the map changes scale depending on the speed of the vehicle. When I set this function in the Jag ... it doesn't seem to change scale based on speed. Can someone help me understand this?

thanks,

r.

I think it changes scale when aproaching a junction or other crossings / lane changes etc, where you are supposed to take off the road you are on.

Further question on this

when traveling some distance I like to have the map zoomed out to see the whole route - I can't get it to stay that way as it zooms back down to a a mile or two after approx 10 seconds - is there any way to keep the the scale I manually zoomed out to

Use the split screen selection. That way you can have one zoomed out the other zoomed in

Is Auto Scaling on? That's the only time I've seen the scale change on its own.
