Default question about tires

Enough forum members have by now had their cars long enough, I think, to give a meaningful sampling of answers to my question:

If you’ve replaced your stock P Zero tires, how many miles did you get ?

Thanks.

P.S. The question is only for those who don't track their car.

Zero. I immediately replaced them with PSSs. (I'm certain that was no help!) I don't think I've heard of any P Zeros wearing out other than on tracked cars. I would be interested to hear as well.

My rears wore out at 11,500 miles. Fronts still had some tread. Replaced with PSS and I'm much happier.

I'm still going at 16k, but will switch to PSS's later this year.

That pretty close to my driving mix, LynxFX, so that mileage figure is useful. I'm wondering how uncheel got 16 k.

19,000 on my original tires, but I'm about due.

Bought mine used at 17k. Fronts were gone, rears have decent tread left.

I probably could have squeezed another 1k miles out of the rears but I had a road trip coming up and it was getting extremely easy to break the back loose during normal driving.

10,500mi. rears show decent tread but sliding more, fronts look great. They're going to be replaced by PSS soon.

My rears do this now and they only have 4500 miles on them. These Pirelli tires really suck.

Pirelli is just surviving on their name these days. They aren't nearly the quality tire they used to be unfortunately.

My rears were near the end at 16K, fronts still had decent tread, but I replaced them all with PSS. I tracked the P-Zeros once.

"Spirited" driving - drifts, but no donuts.

Has anyone installed the Bridgestone Potenzas? I have to replace my P-Zeros, and this is a leased car that I'll turn in in a year. There is a $500 difference between a set of four PSS vs the Potenza.

I have on my XF and I absolutely love them. I'd have put them on my Z06 too if I didn't get such a great deal on my Veredestiens which are also outstanding. Mine are the S04 pole positions. I say save the money and be happy.

Getting back to my question...

I'm surprised and puzzled by the responses which range from 8k to 16k miles. This is among drivers who don't track their car. I don't see how street driving style could account for the disparity. Anyway, it is what it is and I appreciate the replies.

It really doesn't surprise me at all. I enjoy getting the tail end a bit loose at any opportunity and put all exit ramps to full use. I suspect there are others that are a bit gentler with the car.
