Can anyone tell me what the differnce is between the extended leather package over stock? The headliner has a jet leather no cost option, so what does the $2200 give you, just leather on the windshield pillars? Thanks in advance to anyone that knows.

 

Not sure. I thought the jet headliner was the extended leather package. When I got my car, the jet leather headliner was not a no cost option.

However the configurator was incorrect in 2015 and made it appear to be no cost when in reality there was a cost for it.

 

It's the same thing for 2016 -- the extended leather option is the leather headliner (etc.). The no-cost option on the configurator is a lie

It is a black fabric. It's a nice quality fabric. Similar to the optional Black Anthracite headliner you see on BMWs.

The best option in my opinion is the Black Alcantara headliner. It's an inexpensive option (not sure the price but something like $500) and a lot less expensive than the leather one. I also think it looks better. To me leather headliners look great when you have a color other than black.
