Random CEL no codes

Really looking to capture if anyone has run into similar experience of the random CEL not being resolved. They are asking dealer network but figured peeps who have experienced it would be more likely to get response here if anyone has spent time chasing.
I KNOW that CEL could be one of a gazillion things. Your CEL is not necessarily related to what’s going on here. Not looking for reports of anytime anyone has ever had a CEL. Gas cap, anyone? BUT, if there’s the off chance that you had to chase down a recurring CEL, the dealer is open to hearing about it. New dealer does feel we’ve ruled out anything electrical (that would explain the randomness and lack of current codes) but I’ll take them whatever comes up here.
To be clear, there were codes when this started 5 months ago. Then it was that they couldn’t pull from hx. Now they are telling me they intentionally created a fault and still not getting codes. It’s a mess.
I left the whole saga out of FB land as I wasn’t looking for diag help, more looking if anyone else has had similar experience of chasing CEL. She’s been to 2 different dealers over this. Actually, 3 as she got an extra visit during an out of town trip. Items have been replaced and inspected, multiple times in some cases.
I really appreciate everyone’s help. I am hopeful Jag can resolve. Happy to share the full saga if anyone has spare hour or two.

I debated posting an update since there isn’t much to report. But the latest news from the dealer is they and Jag believe issue is related to software gone bad. So they are looking to source a donor PCM. No timeframe given.
