One thing to consider is that even most Jaguar dealerships do not understand that the manual transmission F-Type's sell for more and the valuation guides are not accurate.

They do, but it is also a narrower market for manuals these days. And I bet the Jag dealers know exactly where to price these cars - perhaps the car has questionable history (or perhaps all our cars are going to experience another drop lol).

It's a definitely a thin market both ways, but it's thinner on the supply side than the demand side which is why the manuals go for more than the automatics. The Jaguar dealership that I attempted to sell mine to didn't have a clue about there being more demand for the manuals. They didn't seem to care to know either. Of course, they may not be representative of most dealerships. I ended up getting over $10k more for mine by selling it privately. Heck, even a Nissan dealership offered me more than the Jaguar dealership.

Wow I'm surprised (and stand corrected!), guess I gave them too much credit I guess I should be shopping at dealers if I decide to go for a 6 speed F-Type - curious about the history of that grey car but it could be a hell of a deal for someone in the market.

Default 2016 f type s 6mt

Hello ftyperegistry, awesome stuff you've provided on this forum. I bought a 2016 f type s 6mt in ultimate black with white interior a bit over a year ago. Here's my vin if it helps with your list (or if you know anything about it.
SAJWB6BC0G8K30858.

I guess its one of the more "mass produced" manuals as one of the 600'ish for this year

Hello, CONGRATS and thank you for the pictures. Here are a few from a sale listing I collected back in 2020.

Beautiful example! My 6MT is one of 188 sold in the UK across all years. I've just tuned it to 420hp after 2 years running it stock. How's your experience been so far? I absolutely love mine.

Very cool man, yes- I love it. Bought it saying I'd keep it completely stock...think ive removed and replaced just about everything 🤣 more of a hobby and something to do. The supercharger is currently at jokerz getting ported for velocity ap's stage 3 setup which claims to be around 558 hp! Jokerz is about an hr and a half south from Chicago where I live so felt like I had to do it. Love the ride. I replaced injectors plugs coils and all original coolant pipes out of preventative maintenance...and boredom. Car only has 30k miles but its a lot of fun.

Once the supercharger is back in the car, yours will be the most powerful manual F-Type that I'm aware of (granted I haven't been paying as much attention to the forum lately).

I'll be eager to read about your impressions, if you'd like to share them.

Which clutch/flywheel setup are you running?

A year and a half ago the "oem" clutch and flywheel were installed and I haven't had any major issues with...I dont beat on the car too hard but occasionally sure I will drive it. Realizing the car has much more power now i decided over the winter to resolve this issue by changing out the clutch/flywheel pressure plate for something that will better withstand the new power.
I've been following Onca Engineering..who has many YouTube videos available showing some pretty cool stuff..he also has a manual 2017 f type and too had his s/c ported at Jokerz recently. He has come up with a very cool single mass lightweight flywheel, clutch and pressure plate that seems to exceed the newest oem 4gen clutch.
I ordered his clutch kit/lightweight flywheel pressure plate about a week ago and will install that this winter while the car waits for better weather. I'm most excited about the lightweight flywheel as ours is so heavy..he has a great video that is about 1min long showing how much faster the rpm climbs and drops which will be great when shifting..matching the rpm to the engine speeds smoother/faster. The clutch will also be able to meet a higher demand than oem so with the higher power now we'll see how it does. Several videos showing his clutch/pressure plate and trans removal/assembly and ported SC which is very handy.
I ofcourse wanted the v8 so bad when buying..just wanted a manual so much more...and becuase theyre rare made me want it even more. Velocity ap's 558hp stage 3 should keep me content along with Mr Wiegmans onca Engineering clutch flywheel setup. I'll keep you posted when complete. It wont be overly soon hahaa slow steady install over the cold months in a freezing garage.

Hi Ftyperegistry, newcomer here from Canada! Tried going through as many posts as my brain allowed but didn’t come across info regarding 2015 R imports to Canada. Do you have detailed numbers on these? Mine’s a 2015 R rwd in IRR, vin SAJXA6DA0FMK14152 hoping to get actual numbers of Canadian imports. Tried ChatGPT, said it was estimated that less than 5-8 made it up north in my configuration…this true? Thanks for any help!

Sorry I hadn’t seen your post. I’ll look it up in my 2015 F-Type R data tomorrow

In case anyone is looking super rare 2019 manual for sale. Only 1751 miles. Might be the lowest manual in existence.

So I pulled up the data this morning. For Canada I just remembered I don’t have all the color data because when I collected the data for F-Type R Jaguar did not allow you to see the color or detailed specifications anymore unless you had a Topix membership. For Canada it is even more restrictive as you can’t see any data in OSH either for the 2015 model year.
However, can confirm that out of the 136 2015 F-Type Rs that were built for Canada at least 3 are Italian Racing Red. My estimate would be 10-12. So ChatGPT is not far off.

Thanks so much for the info, really appreciate the time you put into this topic! If you have time, one other question I had was regarding owners saying they have the carbon fibre, limited edition model. What constituted it being a limited edition package and how do you tell if you have one? Mine has the carbon fibre hood vents, side vents, mirrors, and interior trim, but not the front lip, rear splitter nor side skirts. I assume mine were just option ordered.

Had never heard of a Carbon fiber edition. Maybe they mean their car has the Carbon fiber exterior package?
I think that package was introduced for the SVRs and the other models and prior years including the R had to add each carbon fiber part as individual options.
