Just a quick one, if I bought a car with chrome trim (glasshouse surrounds, side vents, grille surrounds) and body coloured bonnet vents, I would want to replace it all with black (or maybe cf if I couldnt get black, aside from the window surrounds). Has anyone done that, or is it something easier done with wrap?

 

It's been mentioned elsewhere but apparently it's pretty much impossible to remove the glasshouse surrounds without bending/buckling them as they are thin anodised aluminium. Just in case you wanted to wrap them as best as possible (ie remove, wrap and refit) rather than wrap in place.

 

A quality vinyl shop will wrap the trim in place and it will look as good as OEM

Wrapped my own. 3M Gloss Black 1080 Vinyl from Amazon and a slow and steady hand with a sharp exacto knife.

Did replace side vents with Black Gloss ones ordered from dealer.

 

i believe you can wrap everything in place except the side vents due to the "Jaguar" text not being able to be wrapped...
