I think those are the correct size for all models except the R.
Why did they not fit?
I guess prices really are MUCH higher in Canada.
You can get Michelin A/S4 here for $1,200 and Continental Swo6 A/S for $1,050.
OTOH you did amazing to get 75K km out of a set. What were they?

That's asking too much for private-sale tires, even if they're unused.
MSRP on michelin.ca is $423/$513 front/rear for a total of 2x(423+513) = 1872.
I just priced out these tires on blackcircles.ca and it came out to just under $1800 CAD. That's new, from a retailer (i.e., you can return them if there is a defect, probably comes with some warranty protections, etc).
From where?
If true they got ripped off.
How does one buy tires before knowing if they'll fit the car, and then "test fit" them?
Maybe it's an aggressively lowered/stanced car that has very little tolerance for fitment variation, but still... seems like a lot less hassle to use a measuring tape than to go to all the trouble of installing/uninstalling.
I assume they mean "best offer"? I thought the price was $1799?
Anyway.
I don't like this ad.
Tread very carefully with facebook sellers.
I'd advise you to shop elsewhere lol.

Yeah, ill think ill just go retail tbh. Any recommendations ? I want summer tires, I currently have the Toyo brand. I prefer to stay cheap but better the quality should be the same as my current ones or better.
General consensus (that I've heard/read) says that the best budget summer performance tires are the Firestone Firehawk Indy 500.
NB I'm not saying that they're "good" tires; just that they're the "least bad" of the budget selection.

Yes definitely be careful with them in the wet.
In the dry they're not bad.
Again, they're not "good", but they are predictable (when it is warm and dry), and I think that's one of the most important factors.

The Firehawk has a not-so-great reputation for wet weather driving. If you look at the TireRack testing, they really didn't like in their wet part of testing. We had a member who bought a car which had them installed already. Here's what he experienced:

What I tell everyone, check out the reviews on Tire Rack before buying tires.

those seem like within my budget.
Should get the firestones

I suppose those could be a good choice to run in Vancouver if
- you want a decent tire that you can run almost year-round,
- you don't care so much about limit performance in warm dry conditions, and
- you'll avoid driving on the coldest/snowiest days that we get around here (think back to January).
I've run the 500s and the MPS4s so I can compare those.
The MPS4s are better, but you'll only really notice the difference near the limit of grip: they will hang on for longer, where the 500s would start sliding. However, as I mentioned previously, the 500s are predictable, in that they don't let go all at once, but somewhat gradually. My highest lateral G readings in this car were achieved with MPS4s, but I've gotten close with the 500s, even before I lowered the car.
Some have mentioned that the 500s don't perform as well in the wet. I would say that one should always drive cautiously in the wet regardless. I never bother trying to have "fun" in the wet in this car. Too much risk for not much reward (it'll never be as fun as hooning around in the dry anyway).
Do not use the Firestones on the F-Type in Vancouver between mid-November and mid-March.

These are slightly bigger than my current tires. Would they work for me?

Better look into THAT...
