Default Resetting service interval?

Hi all,

My car was last services in April 17 and 2,000-3,000 miles ago and now started the count down to the service which is now around 500 miles.

It looks like the last service with Jaguar the computer wasn't reset!? Can I do this myself? From google searching I cannot find much about it.

My nearest dealer isn't that close but might be my only option other than ignoring it until 12months is up, I'm pretty OCD and this type of thing will bug me.

Worked for me on my 16MY US build so hopefully the UK build speaks the same language ;-)

I had the same problem a month ago. Had my car in the dealer this spring. Some weeks later, the service countdown started. The dealer told me the tech must have forgotten to reset and that there was no way for me to reset myself, that I had to bring it back in. I am lucky enough to live 15 mins from the dealer, so I did. The message was gone. However a few days ago the service required message appeared; no countdown, just the message one day at start-up.

I am looking forward to trying this procedure, thanks.

That's it?? Dang, they want you to go all the way to the Dealer for that?? Sheesh! (and amazing...)
Thanks, as always, Unhingd for the knowledge you impart here.
