Sweet. I read a few of them. Most of them seemed to like it and are glad that it was made. However, I haven't read any of the reviews that indicated that this car blew them away and would become an iconic sports car like the 911 or E-Type!

But maybe I just need to read more reviews!

Well, it's about time! I read through all of the posted reviews, and universally the verdict is that it's one helluva sports car. The only complaint being the size of the trunk. I can't wait to read side by side comparison reviews with Porsches and Audis and 'Vettes, etc. I also can't wait for the coupe with the upcoming R-S version, can you even imagine? And finally, haven't heard that kind of growl from a modern day sports or supercar in years. Instead of the sewing machine high pitch of Ferraris or the silence of the Audis, the feral roar reminds me of my 41 year old Pantera, another of the big cats. When the coupe makes it's debut, I may have found my next purchase.

The end of July can't come soon enough. It sounds like the F Type more than holds its own against the big boys in this class...actually quite remarkable for a 1st year car that is being compared to a legendary car in the 911. I would imagine as they continue to refine this car over the coming years and tweak certain things, it will surpass the 911. As it is, I cannot wait for my V8 to arrive...

I am hoping that the existence of a great F-type series - in all their versions - will put some pricing pressure on the X150-gen pre-owned XKs. Even better if the XKRs are affected, mainly for selfish reason - for wanting a GT to replace my current one.

I do like to see the F-type selling well, and start changing perception about the Jaguar brand. Can't wait to see the comparison.

Who in the forum would like to see this car driven by Top Gear's tamed racing driver? I do!

Not everyone is use to the way Jag's drive. Top Gear at least mentioned how well it drives on bumpy roads. Jag manages to balance the road types with comfort and performance. It'll take time before the auto journalists 'get it'.

How the F-Type came in that heavy, I'd like to know that?
