A Ride Along in the New GT
Not a test drive, but a ride along in the passenger seat.

I'd guess that keeping conversation going may be the motivation. Not that there's no damage to control, but with no cars to sell (except the F-Pace) they need to keep people talking. This at least confirms some of the speculation: big, powerful, GT sedan. It also gives a (vague) target for delivery, which I hadn't seen previously. Maybe they've said that before, but I'm not following closely.
I feel the same way. It's not the kind of car I need or want, but I'll check it out when it arrives.
I see Lucids around here, but I'm in the area that saw the first big growth of Tesla sales (SF East Bay). Teslas are everywhere here.

I suppose the Titanic is still on its path to NY.
I'm not ready to go full EV and not willing to spend what the new Jaguar will cost. However, several years from its release, a pre-owned car might be attractive, assuming it provides all of the qualities we have come to appreciate about the brand. A Lucid Air has been the only EV up until now, that we considered buying; and again, it would probably be pre-owned. When the F-Type first appeared, I remember lusting after it and thinking that I would never be able to own one. But the ends and the means finally came together and I couldn't be happier.
