Default Service Visit Report

In for the first service yesterday and today with a couple of small issues. Report is mixed, you be the judge. I had a Land Rover loaner so I could go home.
I had a proximity sensor with intermittent false alarms. Their computer picked up the fault codes and they replaced the sensor. Good. My trunk rubber seals were no longer sticking; they applied some adhesive rather than replacing the seals. We shall see. Reflashed the audio per the bulletin. Absolutely an incredible improvement! Reflashed the Service Required Notification campaign.
When I dropped the car off I told my very nice service advisor that I did not want to insult them but there were numerous reports of oil overfill and the R took 6.5 quarts. When I picked it up, I asked him to check the oil level before starting the car. He came back sheepish after 15 minutes reporting that the oil was over filled. The invoice said 8 qts of oil.
An hour later the oil level was restored to OK. I am not going to rant; it has happened to others on this forum.

JLR would save their dealers a bunch of headaches if they simply printed up some stickers with the respective sump capacities to place near the oil fill cap. I know...I'm having a logic attack.
