I'm still up for a drive if it's dry Saturday.

It looks like I'm 1.5 hrs from MP so if I get on the road around 7,that puts me there with plenty of time to check out the exotics.
I also see lunch is at HMBC rather than Sam's...

Sam's is just too packed/crazy on weekends. Won't be able to get parking or seating. There's a bunch of different options near HMB Brewing Company + plenty of parking:
https://www.google.com/maps/place/Ha...9fb63e3248bba7
The first part of Highway 84 is slow and twisty. Anywhere from 20-40 mph. The 2nd half is more open and comfortably around 55-60mph. Then Highway 1 up to HMB is just another easy freeway cruise. Roads will still probably be a little damp, so take it easy and leave the traction control on
Remember, this is just a cruise, want everybody to have fun and take it easy. From what I remember there's a couple of good photo ops along the way so we'll be able to get some group photos in.

I totally hear you on Sam's,we went on a Monday and were one of the first ones served,I parked in the back lot which looked like the employee lot, lol.
I'm looking forward to putting some long miles and stretching it's legs a bit and I can't imagine a cooler scene than a gaggle of Big Cats cruising the back roads..I'll just hold out the weather remains in our favor!

I'm with shift on keeping the speed reasonable. I have waze and a V1 but I really would rather have some fun than worry about getting pulled over.
It's off-topic - and I'm on the off [other] coast - and that World Famous Lobster does look pretty great. Here's what comes from the lobster capital of the world (have fun on your consortium drive and know how much our East-coasters envy you; our turn will come...and I might just have to put together one).

Looking forward to this guys!
I'm planning to get to Menlo Park for 9am, have breakfast and then meet you guys. Any decent breakfast spots that you can suggest is appreciated.

I'm counting shift, alexg, swa, buick, spinningbull, and myself so at least 6.
This could be awesome!
Alex for breakfast in Menlo there's Cafe Borrone, or Buck's in woodside for the VC crowd.
Also Tootsies at the Stanford Mall is pretty good and will allow you to stay out of the downtown Palo Auto traffic.
