90 for Gilroy is nothing! Went to the Garlic Festival one year, must have been 110 w/o any shade. Garlic ice cream never tasted so good! If the hot weather holds up the convertible guys will be all smiling, even though they know the coupes are better

I forwarded the link to this thread to JAG president Richard Hauk, Treasurer Phil Endliss (who lives on Sand Hill Rd.) and Membership/Roster Roland Quintaro for exposure...if you guys aren't members there you should really think about joining, they do all kinds of fun activities and are really a nice group to be around.

I am going to attempt to host a luncheon on Tuesday August 11th on the Monterey Peninsula as a kick-off for Car Week and then we'll meet up with Sis Stein in their suite once again that evening for drinks and heavy appetizers...those guys like to eat...and they welcome all Jag owners!

Event: Spring 2015 Bay Area F-Type Drive
Date: Saturday, March 21, 10 AM
Start: Woodside, CA (2969 Woodside Rd Woodside, CA 94062 - Across from the Chevron)
Finish: Half Moon Bay, CA (523 Church St Half Moon Bay, CA 94019 - Cafe Capistrano Patio Lunch)
Itinerary: Meet at 10 AM at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage 2969 Woodside Road, Woodside, CA 94062. There's a Chevron across the street so we can fill up while we wait for everybody to arrive.
Depart at 10:30 AM to Half Moon Bay via Highway 84 then Highway 1. Google Maps say it's 36 miles, about 1 hour drive. Time really depends on traffic but we should be early enough to avoid most traffic. Should get to Cafe Capistrano in HMB at 12pm for lunch. Bring some cash, they don't split up bills.
Pit Stops: 2 pit stops along the way. La Honda Fire Station/Market (break) then Highway 84/Highway 1 junction (regroup). Full Route: https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8680/...92221fff_k.jpg
Hi shift, room for two more plus a pup? Cant meet for the drive but will meet you guys for lunch at noon in HMB.

Shouldn't be a problem. When I spoke with them a couple of weeks ago they said they have a large patio so we can all sit outside in multiple tables next to each other. Going to give them a call mid-week to finalize the final head count.

At the risk of repeating these over-used words, this should be “epic” and “mega”!

It'll hold T...don't worry about that.

I emailed Richard Hauk yesterday to see if he can pull any strings with JCNA...keep your fingers crossed.

I'm now a -1 for lunch, but I'd like to join the drive up until the big photo shoot. Will that be at the La Honda fire station?

Yes, La Honda Fire Station should be our best opportunity for a group photo. It's actually market next to the fire station:

If it's relatively empty we can do the photo in the lot. Otherwise the road shoulder is unusually wide and I think we should be able to get a line of cars that way.

I heard back from Phil Endliss with JAG who lives on Sand Hill Rd and he thinks he can make it with a friend in his XK8...which would make 20 Jaguars in total.

Hopefully he'll chime in here soon...

so we're sending the lunch check to Phil and JAG then
less than 3 days to go! wash and wax your cars...trying to see if I can get a photog to capture some action photos as we cruise down Highway 84

Don't know if I'll wash it since it'll get pretty dirty but I will check my tire pressure...looking forward to racking up some miles!

Unfortunately I will not be able to make the drive. I am in the middle of a large house move and I cannot get this Saturday off.
