Default silly question

on a serious note I'm kinda wondering if the performance of the f type V6S improves slightly over time as the engine is broken in.
I don't know if it's psychological
but I feel slightly more torque now that my car has 1500miles on it compared to when it was new...thoughts? experiences?

I've heard it said that the computer adapts to your driving style. Effectively, it's telling you that you drove like a sissy for 1500 miles.

Makes me wonder if I've permanently messed up some settings by picking up my car in the winter when it's not been possible to drive it as hard as I'd like.

lol..well I haven't driven it like a big sissy..maybe a little haha
but I'm driving it the same way now and feel it to be slightly punchier..and smoother acceleration.

I suspect my car has improved since the first 1500 miles. It more easily cracks and pops, and it seems to "let loose" more easily. Maybe I just got used to it, or maybe it adjusted.

For people who observe the "break-in" recommendations, it seems to me it would be impossible to tell. I know I certainly started using the power more aggressively after break-in, thus it was more powerful, and I started hearing a lot more snap, crackle, and pop.

If you really are curious, you can ask your retailer on your next visit to reset all of the vehicle adaptations so in essence you are starting off with a blank canvas.
