I'l be transferring my SiriusXM Subscription to my new to me 2015 F-Type. In addition to the Sat Radio Subscription, I also subscribe to SiriusXM Traffic and Travel Link. The traffic interacts with my current factory NAV unit (Dodge UConnect) to provide real time traffic. Will I be able to have the same feature on my '15 F-Type using SiriusXM Traffic?

 

No, the Nav units don't use that. My 2010 Mercury (which I just traded in for an XE) had that - included weather radar, which was nice.

 

I'm gonna miss the SiriusXM Traffic. You'd think it would be available on a car the caliber of the F-Type. In this instance, a Dodge (2015) and a Mercury (2010) both have it available but Jaguar doesn't. Odd.

 

I'm guessing it gets traffic via FM. My old Nav system does a poor job displaying it, so I don't pay much attention to it. InControl Pro on my '18 XE uses 4G to get traffic off the Internet, so it's pretty decent. But requires a data SIM.

 

Per SiriusXM, the system in my 2015 F-Type is not compatible with SiriusXM Travel Link or SiriusXM Traffic.
