Somebody slap me.
I have to say that it's a better executed design over the Ferrari versions I have seen! I could live with that too!
The 2dr. 'SportBrake' looks interesting, but the 4dr looks like your grandfather's Buick wagon, IMHO. But then to paraphrase my dear old dad, "Opinons are like,'Belly Buttons', Every body's got one".
Just remember, the FPace is pretty damn close to an XE. The wheel base is only 1.5 inches difference. Kerb weights etc.
A higher roll center, taller springs, yes those make a difference but having driven the FPace, it's pretty tight and car-feeling. I'm sure you could expose the suspension & roll center differences on the track, but if feels really similar to an XE.
With the V8 would be awesome. And since we all know the V8's are the same, you don't need an SVR version, just a pulley and tune and you've got well North of 600BHP....

Noting that Porsche sold lots of product after giving an indifferent looking 4-door saloon a 911-themed nose-job and butt-tuck, seemingly quite late in the design process, who knows what might sell (aside from ever bigger and more powerful Crossovers)
