I noticed this bump beneath the seat a couple of weeks ago (see photo)... any idea what it is, or what I can do about it to prevent it from eventually poking through the seat? Thanks

 

You should be able to remove the screws holding the seat frame in place and then you can tilt it back and pull off the front flap of the seat leather to see that that is. Maybe its a hog ring or wire for the upholstery.

 

If you're still under warranty I would take it to the dealer before trying to open up the seat

 

I had to pop out the rear seat on a previous car, and found a leather upholstering tool under the seat. Came from the factory like that.
