I really like how subtle that is.

I wonder what that would look like on a white F-Type…

On a white car me thinks it may not be so subtle. It probably may stand out just a tad more than on the grey car in the photo. However, it certainly would not be so bold as red decal.

OK - so a little update on this:

I've been working on the idea and modifying some graphics to work well for the application.

First, the Leaper graphic is typically a two tone or outline only graphic, as seen in item (A) in the below graphic. I would rather have a solid graphic than just an outline, but if I were to delete only the outline and keep the white center, it would look sort of funky, with bad proportions and missing teeth, (B) in the image below. So I spent some time modifying this to work as a solid sticker, adding the teeth back in and changing some of the contour lines to give it some of the volume/angularity from the original. I then modified the curve of the graphic to match the leaper on the car, which has less 'rise' (not as steep of an angle) and has more of a curve in the neck. So ultimately I ended up with (C) which is a good compromise.

I also did some work on the Jaguar wordmark, doubling the height and adding some thickness to the vertical portions of the letters to enhance readability

Today I made some 'test stickers' by printing, cutting out, and applying to the car with tape. I am pretty happy with the results but may make the leaper about 15% smaller for the final design.

Default REALLY nice work!

Your talent is amazing, and thank you for sharing it with all of us here.

I would do one or the other, but probably not both.. I like the JAGUAR lettering. Let us know when you are ready to launch for prime time! Maybe contact SNG barratt.. they may like your work, too!

I agree. That looks awesome. Too busy with both, unless the leaper is substantially smaller.
Assuming you also have the ability to print onto some form of clear transfer film, I would place an order today.

Now just figure out how to make one for the convertibles and we'll all be happy!

Thanks for the feedback everyone, I agree it is busy and the Leaper is too large.
IronMike - yes I am sourcing a vendor that makes graphics for emergency vehicles so they would come ready to apply as die cut letters with no backing. It is also worth noting these are a light gray color and will have a UV safe reflective coating. I've included a demo picture from the vendor website below.
Also below is a new comp with a smaller Leaper, let me know what you think everyone.

Thanks for the interest!

I'd be happy to! Honestly I imagine the JAGUAR wordmark would work fine on the convertible, it measures 2.5"x16"

I´d prefer the Union Jack in black/white for my convertible. Has anyone an idea, where to get it without doing it myself? I´m not the graphic-guy...

I'd like a tri-color grey Union Jack for my Coupe. Styled after the wheel caps (Just the top half, without the Jaguar script)..

I'd be interested in "BYE BYE" on top and the small Leaper on the bottom.
Fantastic work BTW.

Instead of "Bye Bye" I was thinking "Ta Ta".

I like them, they are especially interesting on your car since it has been de-badged. Did you also remove the Leaper/Jaguar badge that is on top of the spoiler and visible when the spoiler is in the down position ?

I like them as well. Nice work! Please post when ready for other to order. Thnx.

Just FYI, on my MY21, the top of the spoiler has the Leaper over the JAGUAR letters, with the Leaper about the same width as the letters. Although, under the spoiler, the smaller Leaper looks better.

The leaper and wordmark are still there on the top of the spoiler.

Same, that was how I came up with the original proportions, but as you pointed out, it doesn't look as good at that size under the spoiler.

I'm talking with a vendor now, I'll get a quote back soon on cost and they would like to know how many I want. I'll follow up with costs here. I may make some sort of poll for people to lodge their interest, and to inquire with you all as to whether you would like to have them done in any other color.

FOR THE TIME BEING, PLEASE LIKE THIS POST IF YOU WOULD BE INTERESTED IN PURCHASING A DECAL SET

If there is enough interest, I may get some made in white, gray, and black. As of right now these have been designed to have subtle contrast with Ammonite Gray, I'll probably make them a little bit darker than in the examples I have shown above.

I removed the leaper and the script from the top of the spoiler on my old '16 coupe. I had a body shop fill the holes under the leaper and the respray the whole spoiler. If I recall correctly, they charged about $400.

Try this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/363132325406

You would probably want the 400mm variety, the workable area on the spoiler is about 17". 500mm might work you would just need to trim it a little bit.

Has anyone the measures of the convertible? Mine sleeps in the garage

The ebay-link looks good, maybe an option.

A bit embarrassing when one meets up with a faster car though....

I may or may not have been humiliated by a Tesla the other day... Actually it was kind of fun, as he pulled away fast initially, but by the time the speeds increased, I was clearly faster. Unfortunately, he gave up at that point.
