Question Starter button

Can any one tell me where the thread for replacing the starter button is?

Just carefully pry it out. Two small screwdrivers on opposite sides. Apply tape to minimize opportunity of scratching.

New one plugs in easily.

I used a plastic trim removal tool, the smallest one in the kit, to pry my old starter button out.
Took all of 5 seconds and no risk of scratching anything.

I saw someone screwed a drywall screw into the middle of the old one and yanked it out. No potential of scratching the surround. YMMV

I used a piece of string wrapped under the lip.
