Stealth start-ups?

Just a couple comments on this situation:
1. I sometimes wonder if people that can hear the cold start (or any start for that matter) think I am revving it upon start-up not knowing that just happens.
2. I pulled my quiet/loud exhaust fuse so I'm not sure the sequence described would work or not, haven't tried.
