Had these custom stripes designed and applied today. I really needed something to break up all that yellow. They're just vinyl, so if I get bored with them, I'll just peel 'em off.
Yes I know, wheels are covered in brake dust... lol
Looks surprisingly good. I agree that there is o lot of yellow. You can try to black-out door sills and the splitter too, makes the car leaner and less color heavy. But you probably already considered that.
Now that's different. The stripes go well with the panoramic roof. I could see a similar treatment in some other color combinations as well. And being that they are just a wrap, they could be removed if one tires of them. Nice job.

Thanks! We went through a couple designs to find what fit the character of the car wothout being tacky. Yes, i considered those. I paid extra for this appearance package versus the black package... lol
Plus, no more vinyl. i had a very good ceramic coating put on the car and these barely adhered. Don't want to chance it and waste vinyl that won't stick... lol

Thanks Man! I'm digging it. Now its one of a kind since its already a very rare car/color combo in the North East. Lol
The long hood with no contrast was a little too much for me also. Took the vents to the paint shop yesterday to see if a gloss black treatment will be enough to add some pop. If not, I might be going the same route as Cgo!
Yes. Vinyl is great! And the way to go...If you get bored (or sick) of it later...Easy to remove. I thought I would try the Project 8 Jags on the sides, so I ordered a set and installed them (no fun!)...Liked them for a while...Then peeled them off Enjoy!

it's a great option because it looks good and if u want to go back original, just peel em off.

haha, yeah, I always thought the big Jags on the sides were tacky.

Man, you should have wrapped them incase u wanted to change it up! I had a couple other options we looked at. One with the vent also blacked out and one like my current but with a thin pinstripe. The solid black looked cool, but I wanted the functional vents to stand out as the centerpiece of the stripes.
I had the vents on my previous SVR painted gloss black and they turned out great. Painting is easier than wrapping due to the paint shop being right around the corner and I have no plans of going back to all white.

My opinion, it makes the car look like a Mustang. The cool thing about my opinion is you should not care about it.
Nah, if they went all the way down. That is why i decided not to do the pinstrip surrounding the stripes. That was too mustang ish. Your opinion sucks!!!
Both look good. If I had the facelift, I would do something similar, but probably try starting solid and fading by the end of the bonnet indents. But no-one comes to me for fashion advice!
