I was just thinking about updating this thread haha. I still plan on meeting up with everyone before we head over to registration. Did we ever decide on a time to meet at the Sunoco gas station?

Marko, If we're meeting up early enough to park together, will there really be enough time to drop by the Hunt Valley C&C?

Well likely not. As breakfast will always be my priority Unhingd why don't we meet up at my alternate 'old haunt' breakfast place from when I lived near Harrisburg at 830? It's called Two Brothers and us right off I-83 at Newberrytown. see link:

I figure if the group meets at the Sunoco at 930 we can all be on city island before 10 for registration. Of course if anybody wants to join for breakfast the more the merrier.

I will try and make it to breakfast, but if not then at least will be waiting at Sunoco at 9:30AM for the caravan on way to city island. We may want to exchange numbers with a member from each pick up location so we can keep in touch that morning in case a group is running a little ahead or behind schedule. thoughts?

Good idea. If each group wants to PM me I'll start a list and we can PM cell numbers. Also Imnotfamous knows the folks on the ground at City Island and we can coordinate with him as well.

We'll need to update our breakfast meeting location for those joining us. My original place just closed (so sad). Looks like the best place to meet at 830 for breakfast is near the main meeting spot for all at 930. Next to the Sunoco is a Bob Evans. 135 Sheraton Dr, New Cumberland, PA 17070

We can meet there for those that want to grab a bite then wait for the others to arrive at 930 or so. We can then head to City Island as a group. Fingers crossed that the weather will cooperate. Just a couple of weeks away.

Sounds Good. Just updated information for the new breakfast address. Hopefully the weather is nice and everyone has a fun time. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone. See you guys in a couple weeks.

Hi All,

I'm local to the area and just picked up a new F-Type. Not sure if I can make 7/30, will check the schedule. There are lots of events in the area throughout the year and hope to catch up with other area F-Type owners. Here are just a few...
  • Cars of England @ Oakborne Mansion, which is a JCNA concourse event (West Chester, PA)
  • Taste of Britain car show / polo match in August 28 (Lancaster Co)
  • Radnor Hunt Concours on Sept 11 (one of the best shows on the East coast)
  • Weekly C&C in West Chester, PA
  • Simeone Museum demo days

I'll check-in to the Northeast sub-forum as well.

Looking forward to meeting up with you either on 7/30 and/or at some future events this year.

Cheers!
John

Wow I've been out of the loop lately. SCOSS is about a week away and is going to be bigger than ever. They're estimating almost a 2x increase since last year, meaning also, a logistical nightmare as well (I'm unfortunately assuming given the landscape), so I feel that coordination is paramount within arriving groups. I will likely be coming into the event with a different group of cars, but I would advise to be at the event earlier than later as to secure "better" spot(s).

You are welcome to make a pit stop in Lancaster as you head west.

However, I'm really hoping the weather isn't going to be the temperature of the sun's surface like this coming weekend, b/c this is brutal and may ultimately affect my willingness to attend

Weather is looking better...

Just so I'm clear, we plan on meeting at 9:30am?
Meet spot: Sunoco gas station with a McDonalds:101 Limekiln Rd, New Cumberland, PA 17070

For those who have attended in the past, once we park on State Street (or the other designated streets given the number of participants), are we prohibited from leaving earlier than the end of the show at 3:30?

930 unless your joining some of us for breakfast at the Bob Evans next door at 830. which all are welcome. Otherwise we will see you there at the Sunoco at 930 and we can all travel to city island from there. did not do last year so I can answer your last question.

For those leading groups from different directions who have not already done so feel free to PM me if you want to share cell numbers to coordinate arrival times.

Shout out if you are joining us for breakfast. I'll be arriving a bit before 8:30, and can grab us a suitably sized table (or area).
