So looks like one of the SUPERCHARGED badges on one side of my engine cover has escaped. I guess the glue gave way. Apart from finding a replacement cover, anybody happen to know if the badge is used somewhere else and could be ordered on its own ? I don't want to try removing the remaining one to see if it has a part number on the back...
OMG, this is bad news, missing badge. Lemon law issues? Ask parts dept. for a replacement? No that is too easy....Um, what shall I do? These darn cars!
I know! Order the carbon fiber cover for $5k usd. That's the ticket!

Cool your jets sunshine.
My post mentioned nothing about lemon law or other world is falling. Looking at the online catalogs the badge isn't available as a separate part number from the cover hence my question about whether anybody more well travelled than I might recognise it from somewhere else.
If you don't have anything useful to add, save some of them Internet characters for when you need them /s
Edit - it's very different, the font is different and the Mina badge is chrome text on black background while the OEM badge is black text on chrome background. And the Mina badge is probably a different size in either length, width or both but hard to tell for sure coz their page doesn't give any measurements.
Well as I have the black pack it makes little sense to go to chrome vent inserts. But my service writer took a look at it, had a chat with the parts guy and I am getting a new engine cover under warranty. We joked that maybe engineering should think about making the badges the same as those on the back of a Range Rover Supercharged so it would be cheaper warranty claims ;-)
