I have a 2014 V8S.

Also, haven't been able to get an answer - what exactly is the different between "touring" and "race" rear exhaust? Apart from the shape.

 

The touring gives a really nice sound
I suspect the race to be much louder as the muffler is smaller
I have opted for 200 cell race cats
Touring rear muffler
Mid pipes
Polished tail pipes
Deviating from this spec will imho just make it noisier

Gasman2 is correct with his description. I recommend you watch & listen to this video. It has the complete SuperSprint exhaust system, exhaust muffler, Sport Cats, mid pipes and exhaust tips.

 

SVR’s have the same smaller mufflers. Not certain if the touring model will fit.

They’re also not much louder than the R exhausts.

 

For anyone with a SVR model Jaguar sports car, our exhaust system will absolutely fit your car without any problem or issues.

Are you sure about this? I’d read the R exhaust wasn’t compatible with the SVR. To confirm, I’m referring to your touring exhaust fitting the SVR.

You are speaking of the Touring version. No, I doubt it will fit but let me confer with the fabrication department. Stand by please.

Hello Roberto.
Either version of rear muffler system (Touring or Race version) requires that the EXHAUST HANGER MOUNTS on the chassis are changed/switched over with the ones from the regular
F -Type R (non SVR). Neither exhaust muffler (Touring or Race) is curently a straight forward, bolt-on application. It has to be modified. My idea is developing a specific set of exhaust mufflers, which have the same hanger posts as found on the SVR, making the install become a more straight forward simple bolt on job. We are working on this project.

If the customer's SVR has the titanium factory mufflers, I strongly suggest changing the factory catalytics and the mid section because this will definitely provide for excellent results, both in terms of sound, being more deep and aggressive loud sound when in Sport Mode. The exhaust system will have free flow performance.

Supersprint Cats + mid pipes, mated to the SVR factory mufflers, that' s my suggested exhaust system setup for the customer.

You should watch/listen to this video clip to judge for yourself. Keep in mind, this vehicle has the SuperSprint exhaust muffler (Touring) the mid pipes and the Sport Cats. The sound is awesome! Thanks for the feedback. Appreciate the feedback and non-hard sell approach. I've wanted to keep the titanium mufflers.

I'll send you a PM on how to proceed. My only remaining hang-up is the CEL issue that can't be guaranteed as yet.

 

The check light was my concern so I have opted for 200 cell cats even then it may still occur
if it does I will be adding the vap tune anyway which will solve that small issue

 

I got a nice weekend package. SuperSprint Sport Cats for my 2017 Jaguar F-Type R sports car. The car will be coming out from winter storage, probably in 5 weeks. Looking forward to having the complete exhaust system Installed. Raffo was very nice to add some swag into the shipment box.

Hi Roberto,
with only the Touring muffler, (Kats and mid pipes OEM), it is important that the muffler is not louder as the OEM muffler at 3.750 U/min.
my R AWD have 96dB and that is the max. dB for successful individual test DEKRA in Germany I think.
