Default Surprise at my dealer

Surprise at my dealer

tested the R on road. It is, how to say ..... awesome
surprisingly comfortable (in race Mode please and with 20-inch wheels
- an haunting sound
- a real catapult
- Nonexistent rearview and a few pops of passager side seat (I had already noticed this fault on a convertible)

there was a white one 340 also but not Road registered

good day

olivier

I see you went prepared to check the luggage capacity.

Must admit it was better than I expected when I tried one last week.

Hello all

Return from Hollidays (French GT Tour at LE Mans very nice but a lot of water )
I made a small photo montage to compare three types of rims on my future Ftype Coupe

I would like to have your opinion on the choice of rims

good day

I like the Tornado Silver the best. The Blade style is a little too menacing for such an elegant car and Orbit looks a little thin -- I'd be worried about pot holes, etc.

Duhcar,

thanks for your opinion but the Orbit is in 19inch , the 2 other in 20inch.
So the pot holes will be not a problem on an 19inch orbit trim
(i know, my photomontage is not very accurate on this point )

any other opinions ??

I also like the silver Toronados. Better contrast.

Oleh,
At yesterday's Queen's English Car Show in Los Angeles there were two F-type S convertibles in the same color, one with the "silver" wheels and one with the carbon fiber ones. A number of us remarked at how the "silver" ones (which look remarkably similar to XK Calimnos) really provided a nice "bright" point contrast to the rest of the car. It seemed to be the unanimous choice over the darker rims. My 2 cents.

Mine came with the black multi-spoke wheels, I'd prefer to have the silver ones myself. Mine are very difficult to clean. The huge rotors fill the back-side of the wheel making cleaning very difficult.

I like the last shot, those wheels really show off the hugh rear caliper! Just kidding.

Honestly I think the tornado wheels look like cheap aftermarket wheels. Just not my taste.

The Orbits (first pic) look best of three you posted. The blade wheel looks decent. Doesn't look like you can get the orbit's on the R model. They only show up as 19s.

They're not a shiny wheel, they have a regular finish. I just keep my car reasonably clean ;-)

They also look pretty good when they darken up a little if I've not given her a bath for a few days.

I really like the BRG with brown interior. That is one of the configurations I tried as well. Looks very classy.

The Diamond Turned Gyrodyne in dark grey look pretty good too.
