Bad editing on my part - I jumped the tracks from the Valet mode on the Jaguar to (full) Valet mode on an Audi tune ;-)

Maybe the needed to add a Dealer mode...

I always test drive a car before working on it. A lot of people do not notice hub bearing noises, heat shield rattles, etc. Always better to look/listen before-hand to avoid the "ever since" conversations later.

That is what I would prefer as well. It's more likely that you'll experience issues or niggling glitches on a long drive than on a short one.

That's particularly important if there's something wrong that's difficult to replicate.

Valet mode is psychological- if valet sees that it is on they don't know what it's tracking so they are likely to behave.
