hogwash == blogwash

Internet experts abound.

I'll simply observe that the same idjits that want to
beat on a motor from the beginning as "break-in"
will later caution that you have to warm up the
engine and all other components before truly getting
on it in the races the engine was built win.

Seems just a tad inconsistent to this observer.

Myself? I need 2 cups of coffee and 6 cigarettes
before even thinking about a shower.

Well, I'm a blind idiot. Here it is, under the maintenance section.

Break in procedure

The lesson here is: don't ever listen to your dealer about break-in.

It's also in the index, under 'breaking-in period'...

That's why no one in their right mind would take a leap of faith and believe those methods. Maybe with a $10K garage project, but certainly not with a $140k vehicle.

I refuse to shower until strangers begin judging me. My wife's opinion doesn't concern me.

Really tough for me to avoid my wife's opinion.

Best videos were the Art of Villainy Jaguar commercials released in 2014
and "The Reveal of the F-Type Coupe"

Today's Doonesbury seemed somehow appropriate...

Trudeau is on hiatus - they call these 'Doonesbury Classic'. I've been following Doonesbury since the 70s...

I knew he wasn't drawing them anymore was just pleased to see the reprints. I too had been reading them for years. They certainly helped make Joe Gibbs even more famous in the 80s then he might otherwise have been. Of course the Hunter S Thompson references were always evident as well.
