Default Testing the Waters - 2016 F-Type R For Sale

I want to first thank all of the members of this forum for being such a wonderful group of individuals. Through this forum I have made some very close friends. That doesn't usually happen over the internet, but in this case it has.

For those of you newer to the forum, I bought my F-Type R as therapy. My wife passed away, I had a heart attack, and my doctor told me I needed to relieve my stress... I bought the F-Type R and my stress was gone!

It has now come time to realize that although this car may have seriously helped me survive longer and eliminated my stress, as well as helped me come into contact with all you wonderful people, the time has come to seriously look at my life and realize that there are much better things I could do with cars, investments, and family than enjoy material possessions such as this fantastic car.

So... I will not let the car go for a fire sale, but if anyone is interested...

2016 IRR F-Type R Coupe AWD
Black Pack
Vision Pack
SuedeCloth Interior
Black and Diamond Turned Gyrodines
35% Window Tint (dealer installed)
XPel Ultimate wrap on the entire front end. (Installed prior to delivery)
Tire and Wheel Warranty is also transferable
Remember this is the year Jag upped their factory warranty to 5 years / 60,000 miles.

I have driven this car. It has not set unattended. 15,000 miles on it, but all accumulated with loving care.

I am asking $90,000. There are photos on the board, I can provide more if requested. Car is in pristine condition.

MSRP was $109,295 + Tint, XPel, & Tire and Wheel Warranty

Sorry to hear of your decision, but fully understand the need to establish priorities in light of new circumstances. Best of luck to you.

I have seen his car - it's a real beauty. Especially nice are the suede cloth faces on the seats. Made me wish I had done the same.

Good luck TXJagR - you can come visit "Nessie" at C&C any time you want.

Orkney.

Should you be able to sell if before the Lobster Run, I'm sure there would be a seat available for you - if you can stand being a passenger.

Someone should jump on this deal! The color is purrrfect. IMHO...

You will be missed in the community of Cat lovers. I hope the future holds more happy times than you've seen in the recent past. Drive on!

Never did I say I was going to leave my "second family!" I just might be Jagless, but you guys are all part of my "recovery" from the issues that I faced a year or two ago. My "therapy" might be complete, but the family will live on.

(If you all will still have me...)

If you need a refresher dose, stop by anytime -- conveniently located between the mountains and the coast. Cheers!

Oh, I still WANT to come to Maine. I haven't cancelled my hotel reservations. I do have some critical family issues that need attended too. May is still quite a distance away.

I will repeat here what I have PM'd you before:

I (and obviously others) want you to come, I just don't want you thinking about coming.

Best regards and always here for you,
Jay

Not everyone understands "vehicular therapy." I've been practicing it for decades. I'm glad you got through a rough time and are now able to look around with calmness and clarity. The car might have been a necessity a year ago and is now a luxury, but haven't you reached the point in your life where you deserve a little luxury?

While I do deserve a little luxury, it's still a toy. An expensive toy. I thoroughly enjoy it, but money spent on toys could help in many other places to leave me, my family, my retirement, my son's college, etc in a much better place. It has served it's purpose and now it's time to think about my next "purpose"

Mine too is a toy, and an extravagant one, but the therapy it provides is pretty important. I don't have to provide for anyone's college and retirement is unlikely for quite some time. Not with these toys

I understand your decision and wish you the best. Good luck with the sale, retirement, son's college, and a better place all around.

All this camaraderie makes me want to go burn some rubber. For Therapy. Don't worry. I've got a doctor's note.

Happily, Medical Motoring is legal in most states.

That's a good thing, too. I think I'd have trouble trying to register my Jaguar as a service animal.
