Does anyone know if the theft location is dependent on having a current subscription to in control? Or is it independent of it? My insurance company is asking due to discounts. I never activated it after initial trial period. Thanks

 

It's part of the In Control services, so you need an active subscription. (And the phone number is in the app that requires a subscription.)
