I weighed my stock 20" rims. Each of them are about 10 lbs more than my new Ferrada rims.

Agreed, going to forged 21's made a massive difference to handling for me, and when I say massive I mean like it is a different car. I also tried to work out whether the bigger the rim, the lighter the overall wheel and tyre (from memory it was discussed in a thread here), eg whether 21's are overall lighter than the same wheel and tyre at 20's. I cant remember the conclusion to that one.

Bunch of recent threads on these.

forged wheels, lightweight brake rotors, lightweight battery.
getting a carbon fiber roof and removing the pano roof will help.
