Looking for touch-up paint for a '16 BRG, and also the gloss black used for the lower front chin spoiler. Does JLR sell this directly, and if not, where's the best place you've found for a good color match?
I use Automotivetouchup.com. Their Italian Racing Red is a good match for my car, but I can’t vouch for the BRG specifically though. If you just have some small chips on the lower front chin spoiler, I wouldn’t fret too much about matching it exactly; most gloss blacks from an auto parts store would work fine.

+1 Company in my old hometown of New Orleans, LA (well...a suburb)! Have ordered various Porsche colors and BMW colors and it is a very good match, quality paint and clear, and high quality spray nozzles with fan pattern (if you are spraying). Prices are reasonable too and they have all items needed including adhesion promoters, scuff pads, etc. and videos on how to apply.
If you get the codes they will just make you up a pot at the car shop. The manual will tell you where to find the code, I always find it a bit of a mission.
I had a pot of IRR/Firenze made up, it was amazing how many different colours go into it.
You can find your paint code and interior color code on the information label inside the driver's door jamb. See below. This one (1AA) is for Polaris White. Trim/Interior is Jet.

What's "the car shop"? I don't know of any US-based places that can just whip up a can of automotive paint based on a code. Certainly not any normal garages. Maybe I'm just not in those circles?

I've used them for three different cars, four different colors. I went there because JLR had nothing and eventually suggested automotivetouchup.com. I've only done rock chips on the F-Type but the match looks as good as any factory touch-up I've ever used.

I'm in Australia. We have car shops called Supercheap Auto and Autobarn. Supercheap at least have a paint mix facility in them, just like a mix at a hardware for normal paint. I'm surprised that you dont have similar there, it is super convenient https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/se...s/paint-mixing. Costs a fraction of buying OEM, and you get it while you wait.

In the UK we have a chain called Halfords that will mix paints. They mixed the Kyanite Blue for my 2010 XKR and it was a perfect match.
