I just traded in my 14 v8s stratus gray vert to Hendrick Mercedes in Charlotte. If any forum members are shopping, they would get a great car that was taken care of.

I went with a nicley equipt 17 c300 coupe. I liked the Jag but needed a little more room for when we go to the beach. In all honesty, I didn't drive it much and when I did I felt I was driving like an idiot because of all the power it had.

Also, I'm starting to see a bunch of the f types down my way.

What is wrong with seeing a bunch of F-Types in Charlotte? You have a Jag dealer there. I cannot believe that driving a C-class MB gives you a feeling of exclusivity...

The thing is I don't drive it much anymore and the car with more room fit my life style. It made no difference what kind of car it was but someone asked. I was also looking at the xe but decided I like the benz better.

yeah benz are a dime a dozen. The f types are getting more sporadic but still exclusive. Nice looking car though.

Nothing wrong with swapping vehicles to better suit your wants and needs. Good luck with the MB; I have two and they've both been nice. I also had a 2012 C350. If I was to trade my F type, it'd probably be for a SL63AMG.....but they want too much money for those.

Cheers,
Dave

SL63 vert was about 220k. A little rich for my blood.

I've started drooling over the newest E63. Maybe in a year or so I can convince she who must be obeyed that she needs a newer car.

So confused as to what makes an SL63 worth 220. It competes with so many big guns at that price range and IMO it loses to all of them

Cool man. Quite different but if it suits your needs, go for it! I still have a 18 y.o. C43

I think it wins in tire replacement frequency. At least on the 65 Black series, every week new tires.

Congratulations on the new ride. Enjoy!

I test drove this GLC43 AMG this week and was totally impressed.

Glc43 is nicely styled for an SUV. I can't get over the iPad mounted to the dash on the interior. Interior colors are limited. Overall seems like a nice package. How do these Mercedes amg suvs drive?

That anyone deserves best wishes for any new car chosen to drive, that is normal.

Trading an F Type for a C-Class is not. :-(
