Default Traded 2016 Hellecat Charger on 2017 F-Type R

Wife had given our 2014 XKR convertible with 2000 miles on it to my Mother. I needed speed so i purchased a new Charger hellcat. Missed the jag feel so just traded hellcat with 2350 miles on a new F-Type R. I don't know how much opportunity I will have to drive it until spring. We live in the Alleghany Highlands and our roads will be coated with either gravel or salt, or both, until April.

Congrats on the acquisition and welcome to the funny farm. Consider joining us on the Snow Cat Run on New Year's Day if you want to get in some fun driving. The weather may cooperate.

Congrats and great choice! Hellcat is nice but the FTYPE is just a classic in the making. Hope you can join us on the 1st. One last hurrah before winter drops.

I'm curious to know how the Hellcat drove and how fast it *really* was. I liked the specs but dang that car is a Dodge thru and thru with an unattractive interior. What's your take on the two cars?

The Hellcat felt like a 60's muscle car. Went like Hell in a straightline. Build quality was less than perfect, but honestly, I liked the interior. I thought it was comfortable, my wife did not. It was very roomy, including the massive trunk. But a Dodge is no Jaguar, thats for sure.
