TrakDSC
Don't recall if this has been discussed. I'll be tracking my V6S vert in a couple of weeks (at Gingerman in Michigan.) My only track experience is 4 laps in a Ferrari F430 last year with Xstream Xperience (also at Gingerman.)
So, my V6S has a mechanical limited-slip diff, plus traction control and DSC. Does TrakDSC switch off the traction control, leaving LSD and DSC? Sounds like a good way to run. The manual says 'With TrackDSC engaged, traction may be increased, although stability may be reduced compared to normal DSC.'
Thanks.
Edit: Of course, it's "TracDSC", not "TrakDSC". Can't edit the thread title.

When I attended the Jaguar Performance Driving Academy last fall in Los Vegas we drove 2014 XJRs, XKRs, and XFRs. In all cases the settings the instructors used were TracDSC, Dynamic mode, and Sport mode for the transmission. I would imagine that is what they use on the F Types, also.
Did my track day yesterday - man, the V6S is a blast. Did a few laps with the instructor driving, and he hammered it. Wish I'd reset the mpg - burned through 1/2 tank in roughly 60 miles.
I was glad they let me run with the top down.
