Default Ultimate Pedals Installed

Finally got around to having my Ultimate Pedals installed on MY16 V6S 6sp. They are great pedals, but I'm concerned about the dead pedal as it is too big. The clutch pedal itself doesn't hit it, but my foot does as I manipulate the clutch. I've emailed UP to see if they can manufacture a smaller dead pedal. But thought some you guys might like to see what they look like.

That pedal does indeed look about 3/4-1" too wide. That looks like the standard size for the AT.

That is about right Unhinged. It sticks off the shelf by about 3/4s to an inch. I just got off the phone with UP and they are going to look into. I'm going to take some measurements of the shelf in the car after I remove the dead pedal. It'd be great if you could possibly do the same to see if we come up with the same measurements if you have a chance?

I'll get it to you later this evening. Now that you've provided the relative location on shelf with the pic, I can come close to an providing the right outline dimensions.

BTW, how long is the plate? Does the plate partially fit behind the left side kick panel? (looks that way in the pic).

The pedal is 1 foot. It's about 3/4s to wide at the base and about 1 inch to wide at the top. And yes, it slides behind the left side kick panel. behind the bonnet release. I'm going to measure the shelf later tonight and send pics to UP. Thanks for your help Unhingd.

I just measured and came up with 2 1/4" for the top of the pedal and 3.5" for the bottom of the pedal with an over all length of 1 foot. The only thing I could think of is to shorten the length by 1/4" so the floor mat will sit below the dead pedal.

If I were fabricating it, I would make it no more than 2" at the top, and 3" at the bottom. However, with that piece in hand, I would lay out a straight line and grind it down (on the left side) to make it fit just right.

OK at the risk of sounding ****, why does the gas pedal only have 2 holes per row when everything else has 3 holes per row? By design? Wabi-sabi? Manufacturing anomaly? Who cares other than me? ???

I imagine it's for more mounting opportunity depending on pedal location?
