My car has the white side skirts and I didn't like them, which is why mine are wrapped to black CF. Likewise with the front splitter.

My son and I went to the movies a few days ago and took his WRX as I just don't like leaving the F-Type in the theater parking lot for hours...

Low and behold this is what we found in the lot. (We parked next to it to "protect" him for other less civilized door dingers...)

Nice! I'm surprised he didn't park closer to the end. I always look for those end spots and park right on the end's edge. That helps minimize chance of door dents.

Agreed. I ALWAYS park in a spot that is only has one spot next to it, and I ALWAYS park as far to the opposite side as possible within my own space.

(I think that all makes sense)

Well that's what we're always taught and it is true EXCEPT when you park your car in a hotel/motel parking lot and their sprinkler system...with the hardest water known to man...spots your entire car...ask me how I know?

On my way to the dog park, saw this guy. Wanted to chat a little but he was on his phone. Foster City (about 20 miles south of SF).

I hear you. Sometimes I will not park if I can't find a good, protective spot. It's not even about the money to fix a dent...it's knowing you baby was damaged

I am somewhat amazed that after one year I have only seen two other F Types in the wild. Pleasantly amazed.

I just got back from a 3500 mile vacation in which I drove from Dallas to a small town near Philadelphia, and made some scenic stops along the way.

I saw 1 F-Type on the highway the entire trip. In the small town I went to, the F-Type almost caused a few traffic accidents from people gawking at the car. (Average income in this small town is only 35,000 so people don't see many nice cars unless they leave town)

I'm on a roll! Another trip to the dog park, another F-Type sighting. Beautiful high 70s and sunny day, great to have a convertible. Looks like a V8S since it doesn't have matching body rear valance. On 101S near San Mateo (20 miles south SF).

San Jose - second time I've spotted this one at the same appliance shop, so I assume the owner has something to do with the place, but it's nice to see it

(mine's the green, theirs is the black 'vert)

My wife and I were out eating last night at Il Calabrese in Southlake, TX and I used the valet. When we were leaving I saw that my silver coupe was backed into a spot right in front of the restaurant next to a red convertible S and a white convertible S. It's rare that I see a single F Type anywhere much less two others parked right next to mine.

I really wish I had a picture but the rest of my group didn't really think me asking the valet to put it back for a second while I took pictures was a good idea.
