Default Upgrading your charge cooler

For anyone interested in doing such an upgrade, here's a good video to watch.

I hate they call it "their wraptor" upgrade. While a good DIY example, I don't like how deceitful they are. They bolt on other companies products and call it their own. Not to mention, they added a larger HX, yet kept the same stock cooling pump.

Better bang for the buck would be to add an additional HX in line to the existing ones already in place (AMG E55 version works great) along with an upgraded Pierburg Coolant CWA100 pump. (BTW, anyone looking for that pump, @Terrance39 has one for sale for $250 shipped.

Nevertheless, good video, BUT that is Allisport's HX who OEMs that for Paramount and Viezu. Let's give credit where credit is due.

BTW, the HX is $600 if you buy it direct from Allisport here: Jaguar F-Type - AlliSport with the holes already predrilled for you.

We've got one of the Allisport units on the shelf, ordered a while ago and took the best part of 6 months to arrive. There's been a lot of questions about heat exchangers on these but we're actually going to test it, using datalogs etc. to see if there's actually any benefit.

@Stuart@VelocityAP Here is a thread where someone did some testing on the benefit's of an additional HX. Good individual effort here. I have heard/read multiple times, while the upgraded Allisport HX has the benefit of larger/all aluminum design, it does not add volume of coolant to allow for enough additional cooling to make a huge difference (if any). Most who have added the extra HX have had much better recovery results to help with heat soak. I know you know all this, but thought this thread above was super helpful.
