The transmission tune is definitely worth it. I found the stock shift points kind of odd but the transmission tune from VAP cleaned it up and takes advantage of the torque and HP increase from the ECU and pulley upgrades.

Super easy to do and I thought it was a significant improvement on my 3.0. I think this is one of VAP's Black Friday discounted items in case that's a consideration for you.

great i did the lower crank pulley and stage 2 tune ,now this should be the icing on the cake, does it make throttle response more snappy

VAP can modify your throttle response OR you could get (and this is controversial on this forum) a Pedal Commander or something similar. These modules plugs inline with your accelerator pedal and modifies the response according to the setting you select and there's usually anywhere between 3 to 27+ settings depending on which brand/model you choose. If you do a search on this forum you'll see a ton of arguments on here about these products from individuals who have never tried it. I would suggest buying one off amazon and trying it for yourself. If you don't like it, easy return but I'd say with 99% certainty that you'll keep it. It's very noticeable and depending the setting, it improves the overall driving experience significantly. Having the flexibility to change the setting is a nice feature over the VAP throttle response tune because if you're driving over a bumpy road, you're most likely going to want to make the response less sensitive so the ride won't be jerky as you hit bumps and your foot moves slightly.

In my opinion there is a perceivable difference with the transmission tune, however you don’t really notice how much it actually improved until you get used to it and then drive a car without one. Assuming the additional wear is insignificant, if is definitely worth it if you're looking to shed every millisecond on your 0-60
