Default V8 rear lower valance

So after several searches and not much info I have some questions.
I love the look of the lower valance being painted body color and not sure if that was an option when built or just owners removing and painting the factory installed part. I see the cost of the panel is expensive at $1700 plus painting. So that not an option. But removing and painting is.

I see its only 6 T30 screws and the tabs along the top, but how hard is it to remove? And re-install after paint.

Found this pic from another members ride here.

Simple. Takes just a few minutes to remove. It’s real easy to determine which bolts need to be removed.
