VAP tune and Plug Gap on V6S
I have a 2016 V6S AWD and getting the VAP pulley/ECU tune, Mina Gallery Intake, replacing the resonator with an X-pipe done. I'm also changing out the spark plugs..... what should the gap be?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
AFAIK the stock V6S plugs are already "cold" and can easily handle the extra power of the VAP pulley and tune and Mina intake (I have the same) without going to a colder plug, which in turn should mean that the stock gap is good to go. Of course I could be wrong and someone with more knowledge can correct my ignorance!
I bought six new plugs about three years ago but have yet to fit them, I am still running the original plugs at nearly seven years old and 42,xxx miles, and the engine is still running as strong as ever with zero problems.
I have one of the new stock plugs in my hot little hand as I type, JLR part # C2Z28434 stock # 93476 NGK SILZKAR7E8S.

Awesome, thanks. That's the set of plugs I got as well.
Id ask your tuner to be sure.
Theres a video on youtube with someone changing his. Gapped them significantly smaller than what’s posted above
