I bought the tune during the sale and finally yesterday installed it. Holy Mother of God the difference.

Dogbreath, what model did you install it on? Does it have any other mods?

I am about to start VAP's ECU tune process on my 2018 XES. I have the Mina Gallery intake and VAP "Touring" exhaust. What is the current thinking on adding the "Pops and Bangs"? Does it damage the cats? Is it recommended to re-flash to stock before "complimentary scheduled maintenance"? How hard is it to switch back and forth?

I always reflash back to OEM tune to ensure that the dealer doesn’t accidentally do an update, even though I have asked them not to. If the y do try to update a TUNE, they’ll brick the ECU.

Matters not. Same engine, same munufacturer, same tuner, same considerations.

Nah, the extended warranty is going to deny any claim you make anyway!

The reality though is that warranty claims can only be denied from modifications if the failure is found to be a result or effect of the modification. Most extended warranties don't cover most failures anyway.
