VelocityAP Black Friday 2020
I am about to start VAP's ECU tune process on my 2018 XES. I have the Mina Gallery intake and VAP "Touring" exhaust. What is the current thinking on adding the "Pops and Bangs"? Does it damage the cats? Is it recommended to re-flash to stock before "complimentary scheduled maintenance"? How hard is it to switch back and forth?

Matters not. Same engine, same munufacturer, same tuner, same considerations.
Very interested as I’m looking to pick up cats and exhaust system. Wouldn’t mind picking up the data logging cable/app either…..

The reality though is that warranty claims can only be denied from modifications if the failure is found to be a result or effect of the modification. Most extended warranties don't cover most failures anyway.
