I've ordered the VAP tune for my V6S RWD yesterday. I'm able to log OBD data and connect the car to Harry's Laptimer app, so I should be able to give some before and after data. I will keep you guys posted on results.
I'm doing 3 to 4 trackdays each year and have my historical lap time data to compare on the tracks of Spa Francorchamps, Zolder and Mettet. I'll try to run some laps with and without the tune on the same trackday to be able to compare with exact same tires/fuel load/weather/driver conditions :-)

I'll start with the ECU tune and next year probably the lower pulley.

0-100mph and 60-130mph is where you will see biggest gains from more horsepower.

0-60 will always be traction limited and ability to launch the car, particular RWD, though some V6 ones have launch control which should help keep results more consistent unless once tuned it just causes it to break traction, making launching harder.

Nothing says you’ve gotta use full throttle. That pedal isn’t a binary switch.

Nope but a stock V6S launches of the line full throttle no issue, if once tuned your having to modulate the throttle to get of the line cleanly then its harder to be consistent if before you just matted it from the line.

My F Type is awd, don’t think it will break traction once tuned.

Yeah I was referring to RWD ones.

AWD ones have zero issues in the dry, normally zero issues in the wet too with AWD with stock 576PS.

I get AWD wheel spin on the stock pirellis whilst tuned.

Those Pirellis are made of the same rubber compound used in hockey pucks.

I am tuned to roughly 640hp on MSSP and I can't get wheel spin, the tires have crazy grip. I was able to get wheel spin on the PZeros

I know my SVR is not as powerful as yours, 567HP though on a recent dyno day it made 609HP but how accurate dyno was, no one knows.

Still when my car had new Pzero "PZ4" even in the wet the car put all the power down in wet mode, in dynamic maybe a little sideways off the line but the AWD system sorted it out.

On the PS4S again is pretty similar wet mode can stomp it from a set of lights in 0c wet or greasy weather and the car just launches hard. In dynamic it will launch hard but might step out a little off the line, but the power gets put down.

In 10c and above, even wet, even in dynamic, car just hooks and goes.

I note you are tuned and I would ask you this, does the tune remove or reduce the torque limiting you can sometimes feel particular when flooring the throttle from a stop light? If so that could explain your wheelspin?

None of these full throttle launch comparisons are meaningful unless the DSC is turned off completely. Otherwise you can't tell whether it's the tires or the computer maintaining the traction.

On the tune, I have a couple of questions, do these only work when dynamic is set or are they on all the time? If I have the tune and select snow/rain/ice mode what happens? Also, I have had a couple of other cars where tuners have offered a 'eco' mode that generally involves dumping boost early and the such to try and get the most gas mileage out. For example on my Mazdaspeed3 and Focus ST I was able to get form the 27mpg hwy to near 35-40 mpg hwy, do you know if that is capable here? The eco mode was great for when I would A) Go long distances across many states and B) when I knew I was always going to be stuck in construction areas for traffic. Lastly, if the tune is removed from the car prior to warranty work, does it leave a trace?

The new car I purchased is already leaving me a bit worried on some warranty work down the road, however, I would like to extract more power...
+1 on the above please?

Trace already answered (yes it will)

Just received a new tune for my base V6 F-Type.
Since the day 1 of my purchase, I've been contemplating on getting the tune and finally decided to pull the trigger.
As mentioned by many other buyers, my car became a completely different ride.

On top of that, however, Stuart was amazing with his e-mails.
With so many questions, I sent him about 10 e-mails with questions and he responded within 10 minutes.
Furthermore, I was traveling out of country and preferred to have the tune before my trip.
Chris, the tuner, wrote an amazing tune and was working until 9:00PM to send me the code.

The whole process was very delightful and I'm very satisfied with the product.
If you haven't, you should definitely get the tune! (especially if you have a base V6!)

If you think the tune is good wait until you try the larger crank pulley plus associated tune!

Anyone else's car "lurch" when you hit a particular point in throttle position? Mine jumps when I am at about 35% throttle up to about 45%, tested using live OBDII unit . It's so abrupt that if I'm in a turn the back end kicks out so I have been using the stock tune. Trying to have Stuart sort it out, just wondering if anyone else had the same problem
I have a 2016 RR Sport (same 340 hp v6) and a 2016 Ftype V6s. The lurch you describe is what ruined the experience of the VAP tune for the RR Sport, there was a very sensitive area of the RPM range where it would make the car lunge like crazy and then dip every time it shifted because of how much torque is dumped during a shift. I imagine this lurch is much worse on the RR because of the slower shifts designed for comfort and since VAP can't touch the trans computer or shift points there isn't much they can do except play around with the throttle map / add air. In summary, I bought a tune for my RR Sport and because of that issue I removed it and went back to stock. Wasted 1k and voided my warranty. I know this is an Ftype forum, but I would not recommend the tune on anything but an Ftype, it will make the car drive like crap. My ftype V6s doesn't have a tune yet because I figured it would ruin the part throttle on that too. Peoples heads literally whip lash in the RR sport during part throttle because of this lurch. I would warn any Fpace drivers about the same issue and how it will constantly impact drive-ability when you drive normally and not sporty.

I'm not ******* the tune, it works as described, I've tune many cars in the past but never experienced such an non-linear power increase that always catches you off guard.
