Warning Lights Lit Up
OK, I purchased a 2019 F-Type R conv with 19K miles still under warranty. Couple of days ago I mean almost every warning symbol light and warning statement came up on my instrument cluster. Once they all scroll thru I can hit OK and clear thru them but the engine light stays on after. I am assuming this is some software clitch as I do not notice anything different with the car while driving. Anyone have this happen to their car? thx
I have a 2014 V8S, and I had a litany of error messages appear when I had a weak battery. Recharging the battery addressed them all. The check engine light can stay on if there’s a stored code that has not yet been cleared through a series of successful drives that resulted in no errors themselves.
If you do not have an ODBIi scanner you can often take the car to a local auto parts store who can check your codes for free. This way you can see what code triggered your check engine light.

The broader the symptoms, the less likely you have a serious problem. Get thee a CTEK and make sure the battery is FULLY charged. Low batteries cause all kinds of false flags in today's cars. If you use an ODBI scanner, be sure it disconnects cleanly or you'll be back in battery-drain mode. (See related posts for ODBI issues.) Worst case, you can briefly disconnect the battery to force a reset.
