Default Water spots in inside of headlamp Lens

Uuhhgg....I have what appears to be an inch long drip run, most likely from condensation, that has dried and spotted on the inside of the outer headlamp shell glass. Is there a way that service could get inside there, maybe through the bulb change opening, with a long q-tip type tool and clean it up? Seems lame for them to have to replace an entire headlamp assembly because of inside condensation. Has anyone else experienced this?

I believe there's a service bulletin for this concern. I'll check tomorrow.
