great thread starter, tell us everything and anything you did!

I have a 2018 5.0 and I love it, changed the transmission fluid to something more solid for long term protection, 9 quarts!:

I just turned in my leased R today - does that count? I also bought an SVR - I can finally get some mods done so I'll be coming back here soon!

I gave up my V6S and got a XE 35T RSport with every possible option. I do miss the FType though😟.

Hmmm....I would not use any transmission fluid other than the specified ZF fluid (ZF Lifeguard 8) or its Jaguar/Land Rover branded fluid (which is the same thing)....there are some other transmission fluids which do meet the specifications but those at the Amsoil site you cite do not.
Likewise, the engine oil should only be one that meets the JLR specifications :Castrol Edge Professional (the last word being the crucial one) or Motul, LiquiMoly or a couple of others, all in 0w20 weight. The oil must meet the JLR 51.5122 specification and nothing advertised by Amsoil that I can find does that (I know that you spoke only about transmission fluid, but....)
You may be running a risk using fluids which do not meet the Jaguar specifications. Not trying to be nasty, just concerned.

+1 I would agree with this, as the JLR and ZF documentation are clear about ONLY using the specified fluid (ZF Lifeguard 8 - which is Shell L12108). Not sure it is "not solid"?

Also interested in how you changed 9 quarts? Without a flush machine, most refills get out 4-5 quarts max.

Hopefully, yours will be OK...

Well here in Ohio, we have winter from November to May. SO my F-type sits in a heated garage where I can work on it during the crummy months. SO far I have changed the Front & Rear Diff fluid along with the Transfer Case Fluid. ( That was challenging due to leaving the Crossmember in place ). Took off all the underneath shields, cleaned them along with underneath the entire car. Removed leaves and such from the radiator grilles. Removed all the fenderwell shields, removed any tar and treated the front ones with Back to Black. The rears ones I sprayed black with Vinyl Dye. Removed and painted the braces underneath with Black Rustoleum paint, Had two of the wheels repainted due to small imperfections. Finished them up by cleaning and putting a ceramic coating on the inside barrels. Installed new Jaguar decals on the brake calipers, and Purchased new Michelin 4s tires, Cleaned, buffed and topped off with a ceramic wax job. Last summer the brake fluid was flushed along with new "Dustless" brake pads. Still thinking about changing out the original battery. Yet to come will be the cooling and transmission flush. Now just waiting on spring/summer!

Unfortunately the only thing I’ve done to it is use it as a temporary coat rack over the cover while I was snow blowing the driveway and the road.

Saw her beauty with my own eyes for the first time!
Pushed that amazing little start button for the first time!
Heard her beautiful exhaust for the first time!
Drove her for the first time!
Parked her in the driveway for the first time!
Staring at her endlessly through the kitchen window for the first time!
Won't have to watch F type YouTube videos tonight for the first time!

Added new carbon fibre bits to interior and replaced carbon fibre mirrors as one delaminated. Getting road rash off wheels next week, third time since I got car in'14. All CF bits through Madness Autoworks. Getting some for wifes Maser so she doesn't feel left out. Original mirrors were Mina overlays.

I put a 5mm bead of red along the front spoiler to match the body coloured red edge to the body kit (well not a perfect match but hard to pick the difference). Gave it its first bath in about a month last night and finished it with a quick wipe of of (my favorite) Polish Angel red tinted spray wax, which is essentially a 5 minute job - spray on wipe off. It looks a million bucks, cant wait to show it off https://www.esotericcarcare.com/poli...tom-spray-wax/

expensive but worth it IMO. Zero effort and it virtually repels dust

Very sharp! The black wrap along the roofline and back haunches looks good. Really gives it a different, to my eye a more exotic, look.

Yeah I like it a lot. That's a bad photo (took it this morning to flick to a mate who is also mad for polish angel stuff) but the roof wrap really flattens out the roofline and gives the car a wider and flatter look. And it is fully reversible! Reckon it'd look fantastic on a silver car....just sayin...

I've been busy!
  • Velocity AP Stage 2 Pulley/Tune - Wow!
  • BMC Air Filters - Now I can hear the supercharger.
  • Changed rear diff fluid. It looked fine at 19,000 miles
  • Maxton side skirts and rear side splitters...painted body color. The grey color is Plastidip.
  • Carbon Fiber steering wheel trim
  • Painted and labeled calipers.
Now I just need some decent weather to drive it
