There are a couple of different systems in the 2018 cars. Can you post pictures of the Home Screen with the car on? And if you go into your system information usually in settings somewhere can you post a picture of that too

If I remember correctly later 2018 cars could have factory CarPlay / android auto added but earlier would need an aftermarket add

This has been discussed a bunch of times. UAD have a version for MY18 cars and it works brilliantly for me.

Another option is to install a 10" OEM screen with the latest JLR software but that takes some OEM hardware, specialist knowledge and equipment. Except a company called LR Retrofits in the UK I haven't seen anyone else who can do it for you. There's some other thread on here where a forum member explains how he did it himself but it's far from straight forward.

This is the thread @MajorTom was mentioning - I've done it with a *lot* of help from the other members here. https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f...trofit-254670/

I would not do it unless you're willing to get pretty deep into the weeds with regards to obtaining and setting up Pathfinder or another CCF updating program. If you can find an indy shop willing to do the CCF, the actual screen replacement isn't too hard, although it does require some dremeling.

This works great for me, gets you CarPlay and AA, plus an Android tablet functionality.

By coincidence, I am installing the AutoABC brand conversion kit into our '14 tomorrow. Several other owners have installed these kits.

Their website lists specific kit vatiations for all three varieties of F-Type systems, web link below.
