Default What "Zoom" Setting Is Your GPS At ?

While driving today, it occurred to me that I always for no apparent reason set my GPS "zoom" setting at 1/8 mile in every car.

Just curious (slow evening) is this the most popular setting or am I a statistical outlier?

Most of the time in this car 1/8. My Infiniti sedan I set it at 1/16 for some reason. The increments are different on every system it seems. My fear is that I switched to 1/8 subconciously because I'm getting older.

I've never used it, once in a while I turn it on to see if it still works. Don't really need nav in Vegas!

On the lower left corner of the screen is a button that indicates the current zoom. Punch that button and a scaled line appears at the bottom of the screen. Each mark to the left of the dot indicating scale will progressively double the scale (1/8,1/4,1/2 mile etc.) Each mark to the right cuts the scale by 1/2.
