My daily duties are split between my '19 Honda Monkey and my '14 Focus. I will refrain from photos of the Ford so as not to make you guys too envious 😂
That monkey is so cool!! I have a 250 Yamaha, but in South Florida riding a bike is too dangerous, so it never really leave the community. My good friend and neighbor but a 1299 P and 5k into mods into it, first time he took it out on the street was the last... it now sits in his living room as a piece of art and sometimes cruises with me in the community making a whole lot of noise with the Akra exhaust. Everyone here has some awesome daily's. I'm so glad I started this thread!
I have never been a fan of red cars, but I have to say that the F Type sure is attractive in red with some chrome trim. I am considering the Firenze Red when I order my F Type but am afraid that color may draw some unwanted attention. I'm vacillating between BRG and Santorini Black at this point but keep looking at this combo and with the tan leather interior:
I bought the F-Type as the daily driver. I always planned to migrate to a WFH situation. Covid just accelerated that. That is fine by me. Commute in an F-Type is a bit sad, the few weeks I did it.
Worked on cleaning out the beast. Work van. Promaster. Sees 10x the use of the F-Type. It is really an easy vehicle to get around in and never have to stress the things - curb scrapes, unwanted attn, etc, you get with a bright red sports car. The Covid mask in the front gets a lot of laughs (or concerns from wimpy types) at intersections.
Don't do it unless you have tons of disposable income. The old saying that a boat is just a big hole in the water where you throw a lot of money is 100% true. Like a money vacuum. Renting a nice boat for $500/day with no grief and worries is a lot easier.
I lived on a houseboat for six years and a boat then made a lot of sense, was right there all the time.

True and wise words. Certainly not the best financial road to travel, but for me it was completion of a life long obsession.
Some of you guys will remember the old master card commercial “ cost of bla,bla = $$$, cost of bla,bla = $$$$, a perfect day on the water = priceless”.
